Good luck to him, he had a fun run and was in some entertaining matches.

I wonder if Dana will put him in the Dana Whi... I mean UFC HOF?

why would he hes not deserving in the slightest

I think the laws of sarcasm dictate that he is without a doubt UFC HOF material. Probably not Bonnar or Mask level HOF but easily better then guys like Randy or Hughes.

Over Hughes?! Dude was a big time champ and fought multiple legends...

Smart guy. Has a lot ahead of him. He had a good run.

He has a gig as an ACC college football analyst next season with FOX. I get the impression FOX is willing to pay him more then the UFC would be to fight MMA so this should be a solid transition for him.

I doubt pay is the ultimate decision maker here. It's a solid gig, probably with decent pay...and the bonus is that it'll never scramble his brain. I'm sure he'd like to do something similar whenever he decided to hang em up, so here's the opportunity.

Wow, I didn't see this one coming. Stann put on some great fights over the years. I'm sad we won't get to see him in the cage anymore. His last fight was an amazing moment for the sport so he definitely has that going for him.

After listening to his reasons, you can't blame the guy. Fighting for a living is a tough career. It puts your body and your family through a lot. He wants to be there and be healthy for his kids. Mad props to the guy for thinking of his family before himself.

I disagree with him that he didn't look as good his last few fights. I thought he got better every time he was out there.
