I was a big WWF and WCW fan growing up, as I am sure many of you were, that then switched over to the UFC. As you see by my name & avatar, I was a huge fan of "The Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman, but unfortunately like many in his field, his life ended too soon. Anyways, I was pondering in my head who the best wrestlers of all time were if you include everything & figured I'd make a list of my opinion. In making this list I considered overall skills in the ring, entertainment value on the microphone, and in many cases what they've done outside of the ring. Also, I am not putting in wrestlers that were before I was born (80's) or that have just become the top talent in the past 5-10 years in WWE or TNA (Cena, Orton, Hardy).

1. Hulk Hogan
2. Ric Flair
3. Stone Cold Steve Austin
4. The Rock
5. Macho Man Randy Savage
6. Andre The Giant
7. The Undertaker
8. Bret Hart
9. Shawn Michaels
10. Sting

Honorable Mentions: Mick Foley, Bill Goldberg, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle

I knows its opinion but just cant put Macho Man in the top 10, he was always 2nd, 3rd fiddle in my opinion. Very good skills, but couldnt carry the company for any time.

Macho Man was a 4 time WCW & 2 time WWF World Champion headlining 3 Wrestlemania's beginning at the WM5 tournament in which he held the title for over a year. He was always the 2nd from the top to Hulk Hogan & Ric Flair, but is still top 10. That also reminds me of The Ultimate Warrior who retired him at WM7 in which Savage then reunited with Miss Elizabeth. Anyway, consider what he did outside of the cage as well with a 4 year pro baseball career in the minor leagues (Cardinals, Red), his ooh yeah snap into a slim jim commercials, movies/tv such as Spiderman & King of the Hill, and just by being one of the few pro wrestlers that you can truly call a household name.

You could make the the case Triple H was more deserving of being in the top 10 with his accolades

The problem I have with Triple H is that most his wrestling accolades were only achieved because he married the boss's daughter Stephanie McMahon.

&

Chael, surprised you didn't put Mr. Perfect

I was an unabashed WWF and ECW loyalist when I watched, so I won't have very much in the way of WCW folks, in particular Ric Flair, though I have since watched some of his early stuff and it's pretty rad. I have to think more about this, but this is what I thought of on my lunch break.

Stone Cold Steve Austin
Mick Foley
Macho Man
Bret Hart
Shawn Michaels
The Rock
Chris Jericho
Randy Savage
Triple H
Eddie Guerrero

And had Chris Benoit not gone off the deep end and ruined his legacy, he would be on this list as well, but I can't in good conscience add him.
