So to make a long story short - I'm trying to connect to my home WiFi via my phone and can't remember my password.

I had the same issue when I switched to DirecTV and had to set up my OnDemand. I don't remember what I did (if anything) or if I ended up remembering it.

Anyone?

WEP address on bottom of router...Or you can go into your router and turn off your password....the address is like 161.1.1.1. or something to that effect...Just google the IP address for routers it's the same for most.

1) Turn OFF Wi-Fi
2) Turn ON Wi-Fi
3) Select "Other" not YOUR Network
4) Manually type in YOUR Network Name
5) Select the Password Type and enter your PASSWORD

If the router belongs to your provider, chances are the info is on the bottom or side of the device. If it's your device...what brand and model do you have? and have you changed the pw from the default? if it's the default, just google your router make/model with "default password" and you'll have it. If you've changed it, you'll most likely have to do a system reset, unless you have it saved in plain text somewhere.

edit: if you choose to reset the router, keep in mind that you may have to reconfigure any devices that are already synced with it...as well as the router itself, of course.

edit: just to clarify, when referring to the default pw, I'm referring to the router pw (not wifi pw), which presumably, you also don't know.
