Rashad Evans’ victory over Dan Henderson in the UFC 161 headliner did not come easily, but the former champion will take it nonetheless.

Evans snatched a split decision from Henderson on Saturday night at MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, overcoming a first-round knockdown to halt a two-fight skid and earn his first win since January 2012.

Drop down to 185, your last 4 fights have been boring as hell.

The judging all around was horrendous this event.

IMO they blew it on Rashad/Henderson, Yves Joubin, and Jake Shields

I personally thought Rashad let his hands go more in this fight than he has in several of his last which surprised me in light of Hendo's power. I thought the Rashad decision was right, but I can definitely see where there's some disagreement there especially with Rashad getting rocked early. The Shields fight was typical of what Shields does and made me feel bad for a really exciting Woodly. I find it beyond ironic that Nick Diaz complains so much about guys stalling and judges rewarding top game more than they should while he continues to support the epitome of those things in Shields. I did miss the undercard entirely this time around though so it very well could be that I just missed some more of the poor judging you all are referring to. I think Rashad/Glover could be fun to watch because of Glover's power, but could also see Rashad sort of leaning on him the entire fight or getting the take down and just smothering him. I didn't dislike the main card really at all. I felt like the main event did a decent job as a last minute stand in, and definitely saw some exciting moments in the first couple of fights. All in all it definitely wasn't the best card I've ever seen but it sure wasn't the worst.

Hilarious that people think one-punch Woodley deserved the win.

Rashad should go to MW but problly won't , until he gets a losing streak outside of Champ fights. I would bet he could beat Glover with his better takedowns.

I think Teixeira would beat Evans down. I think his takedown defense is too good.

Woodley did more damage, Shields was in control. It depends how you rate damage and control.
