I thought Pettis had a real chance to get the title. I could be bias because hes my favorite fighter. But this really sucks, he had a real chance. This fight still needs to happen eventually. Zombie deserves it less than Pettis did anyways. I wonder if Aldo will bitch about that too.

I'm actually really looking forward to this fight. It should be very exciting. I think it's a great replacement.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the KZ and I do believe it'll be an exciting fight.

It's just not the same type of fight that Aldo/Pettis would be IMHO.

You know what, at least KZ keeps the champ active. I don't like the 1-2 fights a year thing with champions, I want 2-3. In three years he's only fought six times, and three of this went to decision so I don't think it's helping. Sometimes guys just need to fight to keep their instincts and to avoid the old rust.

I offered to save yet AGAIN another card......but.......

Link

And I quote - - "I can confirm @sonnench asked Dana to fight Aldo. @TheDolceDiet had the weight cut planned. The Boss said Boston event bigger priority."

Thanks to my good bud @ Front Row Brian - - always on top of the latest and greatest

I'm really surprised at the lack of enthusiasm about the fight. Almost everyone was swinging off KZ's nuts not that long ago, clamoring for him to get the title shot and here it is

Honestly, I'm not disappointed in the slightest. I'm excited to see this fight just as much, if not more than Pettis. Pettis should be at 155. He had already earned a title shot there anyways.

No love for the Zombie?

He fought Poirier with a torn rotator cuff. Now he's 100% and has been training with the absolute cream of the crop in Korea. He improves between every fight, which partially explains how he beats the odds as an underdog (because he's better than his last appearance). He's confident and believes he can win. After the news broke, he tweeted, "I'm ready!!!!!", which has a ring of legitimacy to it if you've been keeping up with his interviews.

Hopefully he surprises us once more and shows up better than we've ever seen him. He's cerebral, versatile, and thinks on his feet with fast reactions and moves that are meant to finish fights, has a good mix of MMA skills, smooth transitions (thinks of his skills as simply MMA, not exclusive arts), power and timing, a chin that can take all but devastating strikes, and not an ounce of reluctance.

I was intrigued by Aldo vs Pettis, but I'm more excited about Aldo vs Jung.
