I think secondary should just be WSOF and Bellator moving forward. I haven't been able to watch or follow a good deal of the secondary league fights and it takes away some of the fun.

I know the die hard fans like it the way it is but you should consider extending the poll to the main page. I'd imagine a lot of the casual players would also enjoy a bellator\WSOF secondary league. It could bring up the participation.

WSOF is every 2 months or more apart. That was the main complaint of a shit ton of members about the secondary before its current model, that the cards were few and far between.

Bellator has a weekly schedule, albeit it has seasons and WSOF looks to be putting together regular monthly fights. Between the two I think there would be enough events. Plus, I'd rather be following the new talent of bigger organizations than the wash-ups of the smaller ones.

where has WSOF put together an event within 2 months of each other?

I don't mind throwing in big name fighters from random unwatchable shows, but I think all Bellator tournament & main card fights should be on the L2 event without a doubt. Also, when there are nationally televised cards on AXS TV such as Titan. Legacy, and XFC there should be at least a few fights from the main card making the list & not just for example the main event squash match of Bobby Lashley.

Bellator doesn't event announce half of their fights until the week of the event. As long as they keep doing that, they'll never be in the Primary league.

And WSOF puts on monthly events? They've only had TWO events. One in November of 2012 and one in March of 2013.

Also, and this is just speculation on my part, but wouldn't moving Bellator to the primary league reduce the # of people picking secondary league cards to so few that it would hardly be worth running?

Bellator serves as the 'anchor' for a lot of L2 cards. Bellator events provide a regular base with around 4-5 solid fights, and the rest of the L2 card is filled in with other fights happening that weekend.

I think Bellator events should stay in the L2 league because of how well it works having them as the foundation piece of L2 cards.

to compare bellator with those promotions is nonsense. They were both bought by the UFC.

Its so obvious that bellator doesnt seem to be going anywhere its just plain odd as to why it cant garner enoigh respect to get put on the primary league.

and in regards to fleeks post

so the basis for not putting bellator in the primary is because half the fights arent announced till fight week? So there isnt ANY set cards to use?

Not even half of the players on this site participate in the secondary league. Thats unfortunate because i really want the secondary to be just as much apart of the site as the primary but it CLEARLY isn't.

however if things do stay the same, which im sure they will, i say start promoting MMAplayground.com as a fantasy UFC pick em game rather than an MMA fantasy site. because i can guarantee that the majority of the new members we attract will probably never even look at the secondary league and if they did i guarantee that the majority wouldnt know alot of fighters on those combo cards.

anyways like i said i tried hate going against the grain but somebodies gotta do it

Why don't we just call it "Let's pick whatever Fleek wants to pick this week League"?

Its not nonsense at all. You're talking after the fact that they were bought. During their peak, prime they were their own companies.
