For those who were lucky enough to see the first fight of . UFC 160, you were treated to a massacre. I ask you, was Stephens vs. Payan the bloodiest fight in UFC history?

I'm thinking yes....

I haven't been able to see the fight yet. Just catching up after a night at work. I took one look at the canvas while watching Cain vs Bigfoot and immediately thought to myself, "Wow, I don't think I've seen that much blood in the cage since Kos vs Lytle." Can't wait to find the fight and give it a look.

I thought the same thing! I still remember kos dragging lytle and his blood just painting the canvas... The blood on the camera took it to the next level too. That was some insane ground and pound.

I don't think I've ever seen a puddle that deep in MMA before. I'm surprised the doctor didn't stop it. His forehead was a coffee pot that was pouring decaf blood.

I'm gonna try to find a picture of Stephens after the fight too - he was as thoroughly coated with opponent blood as I've ever seen.

Missed this fight. The canvas told the story though. I'll have to watch it sometime this week.

I only saw the first two prelims. When I saw that puddle of blood i really felt like I was going to miss a great night of fights.

One really bloody fight I remember was with Renato Sobral (against Heath?). It just seemed to be all over both of them.
