The UFC light heavyweight champion is currently healing from a toe injury suffered at UFC 159, but he would like to fight two more times in 2013 according to his manager.

I hate Jones but have to admire his willingness to fight. He's the reason mma will be more popular than boxing. A clear champ who is willing to fight often against the best fighters. It doesn't hurt that he's good at finishing them too.

I just can't wait to see him fight guys his own size at HW.

No need. Divisions stale anyway. Have Machida/Gus now and have Jones fight Silva in November to celebrate the UFCs 20th anniversary (co-main Rousey/Zingano)

Jones is tearing through the division but Hendo, Glover and Gegard are all options too (assuming glover and Hendo win).

If DC drops some lbs he could be an option as well.

But you're right. The pond is getting small. It maybe time for HW.

imo, Jones is an amazing fighter who entertains me whenever he fights.

I'd love for him to fight two more times this year. I like his schedule.
He appears to fight more often than other champs. So, not only does he fight better/more entertaining than some other champs, he out-works them too!

I hope to see Bones/Spider soon. THEN he can move up in weight if he wants the challenge. Of course, he could just stick around LHW- like Anderson did at MW, or GSP at WW, or, to a lesser degree, Aldo at FW - and rule the division for a few more years.

Edit note/reason: 1) spelling, 2) grammar, 3-4) unfairly left GSP/Aldo out of discussion

The more he fights the more likely it is he'll get splattered on the cage floor.

Are you sure?
I see what you're getting at, but most people who are skilled at something tend to get better with practice. That is, until they reach an age such that their mental/physical capacities falter.

The more time he spends in the cage the better the chance he gets beaten. The odds of it happening are better. I don't expect it to happen though.
