Reza Madadi (13-3 MMA, 2-1 UFC) has been forced out of his lightweight fight against Michael Chiesa (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) at UFC on FOX 8, and Jorge Masvidal (24-7 MMA, 1-0 UFC) will step in to take his place.

The announcement was made on Tuesday night's edition of "UFC Tonight" on FUEL TV. Visa issues for Madadi reportedly are to blame.

With the change, UFC on FOX 8 now includes:

Demetrious Johnson vs. John Moraga - for UFC flyweight title
Jake Ellenberger vs. Rory MacDonaldv
Robbie Lawler vs. Tarec Saffiedine
Liz Carmouche vs. Miesha Tate

PRELIMINARY CARD (FX and Facebook, 4 p.m. ET)
John Albert vs. Yaotzin Meza
Michael Chiesa vs. Jorge Masvidal
Danny Castillo vs. Bobby Green
Mac Danzig vs. Melvin Guillard
Matt Mitrione vs. Brendan Schaub
Yves Edwards vs. Spencer Fisher
Germaine de Randamie vs. Julie Kedzie
Ed Herman vs. Trevor Smith
Aaron Riley vs. Justin Salas

This went from a relatively easy win for Chiesa, to him getting stopped in devastating fashion

I think Chiesa looses both fights, Medadi is a much better wrestler and Chiesa's striking looked piss poor against Kuivanen. Jorge wins this via ud

If Chiesa doesn't get the TD he's gonna get lit up brutally.

Big step up for Chiesa. On the feet he is going to get schooled but Chisea on TUF never stopped going for the takedown and that's what he needs to do here. Masvidal has weaknesses and there's no denying that but Chisea's going to have his work cut out trying to expose them.

I'm very interested in what Masvidal brings to the table as he hasn't finished an opponent since 2009 so he might come out hungry...

Amped to see Masvidal getting in there again, but these visa issues are becoming more annoying than month out injuries

I'm a huge fan of both of these guys but I think it may be a bit to early for Chiesa to face someone like Masvidal

Chiesa is just not very good. He'd probably get dominated by Madadi or Masvidal...who are both good but unspectacular.
