Blood spilled. UFC will no longer require the services of 145-pound "Scarecrow," Pablo Garza (12-4). The 29 year-old featherweight, who bagged "Knockout of the Night" at TUF 12 Finale as well as "Submission of the Night" at UFC 129, is fresh off a first-round tapout to Diego Brandao last month in Sweden and leaves the promotion with a 3-3 record.

Wow that's surprising, I read on Joe Ferraro's twitter that Antonio Carvalho is also most likely going to get cut

Garza was pretty exciting and it's too bad they cut him.

Delivered a top 3 koty and soty and was always game and never showed a serious weakness, he just wouldn't be the best. Gotta keep guys like that around

Seriously! I think Leonard Garcia is the best name to point at when discussing this issue...exciting fights vs record...at some point it has to even out. .500 is not a good record, but high profile exciting fights should keep you around (just ask Randy Couture).

not a good move by the UFC's part. Both fighters are worthy of being on the roster.
A bit more disappointed with Pablo Garza getting his walking papers.
