Chris Camozzi, who himself was an injury replacement for C.B. Dollaway on this card, has agreed to fill in for Philippou. Camozzi was previously scheduled to face Rafael Natal on the main card. Natal will now face newcomer Joao Zeferino.

Love Camozzi. Great job stepping up. Not sure he's on Jacare's level exactly but he'll give him a hell of a fight. Dude is tough.

Not a bad matchup, especially for a replacement. Jacare's the more talented fighter here, but Camozzi's really coming into his own in the last few fights.
One thing I'm expecting from Camozzi is pressure, and that Jacare likely won't be given the time to get comfortable, land bombs, and set up submissions. Then there's the physical angle. Camozzi is a huge, durable guy with great cardio and solid submission defense. Jacare's super strong with crazy grappling grip, but he seemed to have cardio issues in the Rockhold fight and struggled a bit with Rockhold's striking output.
If Jacare wins, I think he does it 2 rounds to 1 through controlling the clinch and ground work, landing enough shots to look solid while never taking Camozzi out completely. Camozzi comes back strong in the 3rd through cardio and heart, but loses the fight due to lack of effective aggression from the guard.

Camozzi is on a good streak, it makes sense for him but I want to see these Strikeforce MWs fighting the top names.
As much as some Strikeforce LWs, WWs and HWs have looked good in UFC so far, I still have my doubts that the MW/LHW guys are 100% for real. I wanna see a big signature win from Rockhold, Jacare, Kennedy, Mousasi, etc. No offense to Camozzi but it won't prove much about Jacare if he wins.

Apparently there is nobody else who can step in of the huuuuge Ufc roster. What is the point of having all these guys if you cant bring one in to make a BETTER and more entertaining fight?

This is a much easier fight for Jacare in my opinion. On a side note Props to Camozzi for stepping up on short notice. I have nothing but respect for fighters that are willing to jump in there as a late replacement and save a fight from being scratched.
