In Sonnen's post fight interview, he seemingly retired from the sport of MMA. Check out the quotes below to see what he had to say about his future with the UFC.

Although I'm not fond of his shtick, I feel he has a lot of interesting matchups left. Evans, Belfort, Franklin, Wanderlei and a rematch with Bisping are all fights I'd kike to see for various reasons.

Now I know he isn't interested in sticking around if he isn't working toward a title shot but I would lile to see him continue his career inside the world famous Octagon

There are a ton of fights out there for Chael to promote, but I'd really like to see Chael vs Hendo. It's not like there's really bad blood there or anything, but Hendo was unhappy Chael "talked" his way into a title shot and they both know each other extremely well from training together. They both strike me as the types of guys that would fight anyone at any time and I could see this one being really fun. Even if there was a long feeling out process, when either of these guys fight I can't be anywhere but standing or at the edge of my seat, so I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy it.

Sonnen can still anchor a card. There are paydays out there if he wants them. I like the idea of Sonnen vs Griffin, or Sonnen vs. any brazilian in Brazil.

On the other hand, there is a good spot for him in the organization as a talking head if he doesn't want to fight anymore.

Call me crazy, but in addition to the fights you guys have listed for him, one of the fights I would most like to see is Chael vs GSP if GSP ever decided to move up to 185 for whatever reason. I know he recently all but shot the idea down for good, but I still want to see it.

If he does decide to return, I hope he isn't picked for a main event. Don't get me wrong, a lot of his lines are funny, but they're getting old. The lead up to his fight with Jones just felt awkward. It was like the UFC was trying to recreate the magic of Silva/Sonnen and it just wasn't happening.

Chael got demolished last night, but he fought too high in weight. He gave Silva two tough good fights at MW. That's where he needs to be. Though 2 losses to the same champ makes you less relevant, he's still at the top of the heap there
