At this weekend's UFC 159 event, Chael Sonnen (27-12-1 MMA, 6-5 UFC) returns to the UFC's light heavyweight division for the first time since 2005. If all goes according to plan, it will be his home for the rest of his professional career.

"I don't want to cut back to 185," Sonnen said during a Wednesday appearance on "The Opie & Anthony Show."

Sonnen meets UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones (17-1 MMA, 11-1 UFC) in the main event of Saturday's UFC 159 event, which takes place at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Chael can hype up some big name fights at that weight class & would make for some interesting matchups stylistically

I think you are right. There are big matches at LHW for Chael if he loses to Jones. There is really nobody at MW besides Anderson that has the star power of a Rashad, Machida etc.

Just please don't do Chael/Tito. Yeah, I know it would sell . . . just please don't.
