California State Athletic Commission Executive Officer Andy Foster insists he hired the right people to judge at this past Saturday's UFC on FOX 7 event.

Competence trumps bias is the message I got from that. Is he admitting that there are so few competent judges, that they couldn't find one that also didn't have a conflict of interest? He's skirting the issue. The commission is never wrong.

It's interesting though how he's weighing the conflicts, based purely on what was declared by Vierra. He was taken out of consideration on a fight that he declared information for, but not for the one he didn't. That means he's taking the judge for his word on his bias, rather than taking a second look. What ever happened to due diligence?

this is stupid, Gil won 2 rounds and another round was a toss up. Bendo did not deserve a convincing win, he barely won at all. I gave it to Gil. If they fight again, Gil will probably win.

People need to save the outrage and hand wringing for the truly bad decisions. This is a complete waste of time.
