Maybe I'm alone with this thought, but I would love to see Rumble stay at HW. He's athletic and packs enough punch to break AA's jaw(kind of setting you up for a glass jaw joke here). I would like to see Rumble against someone who is 250 to cement my idea, but I really liked him at HW.

I think he's best suited at 205 but he looked good last night. Arlovski's chin is still a question mark but to think a guy who was fighting at 170 a few years ago was able to knock him down and potentially break his jaw is crazy.

Eventually I think the size disadvantage would be his downfall at HW. At LHW he's got a lot of power and a solid base.

I think he's champion material at 205 myself, I can see him beating anybody at 205 or at least threatening

That statement is true.....as long as he keeps fighting burn outs, I mean Strikeforce legends, in the Minor Leagues.

A long-term cigarette smoker has a better gas tank than Tony.

Johnson's lack of speed and technique makes Forrest look like a freakish athlete.

I'd rather see him at LHW or MW as well. His gas tank ran dry hard core at the end of the 2nd and the entirity of the 3rd round, and some of that could be because he is carrying around all that extra weight. Cardio issues work both ways. It hurts when you're carrying around more weight than you probably should. and it hurts when you are cutting too much. There's always been questions about the cardio of Johnson, so it could just be that conditioning isn't being worked enough in camp. One way or another, I think that lhw and mw are better fits for him size wize than hw, and they give him a greater chance of reaching significant levels of success as a fighter.

His best weight would probably be MW but that assumes a certain amount of off-season diet and discipline. Given his track record I wouldn't book him at that weight if I was a promoter so LHW is probably where he'll end up.

I think he'll be one of the better guys at any weight that is fighting outside of the UFC but he doesn't have the talent to be a top 10 guy at any weight class IMO. He's not great at any one aspect of the sport, he doesn't compensate for that by training hard enough--as a matter of fact most of his pre-fight training has historically been focused on weight loss, not increasing technique or strength and he's lost to guys like Clementi that makes it tough to imagine him beating top contenders at higher weights. He showed glimpses of real talent at times but that was at a weight where he was much larger than most of his opponents and he never capitalized on that talent by training the right way.
