Ryan Bader (15-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) has been forced to withdraw from a planned UFC 160 matchup with Glover Teixeira (20-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC), and James Te Huna (16-5 MMA, 5-1 UFC) has agreed to fight in his place.
UFC officials today announced the switch.
UFC 160 takes place May 25 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FX and Facebook.

Bader would have won in classic "underrated wrestler derails non-wrestler hype train run amok". 29-28 Bader. yup.
It annoys me a little that UFC wants to push Glover hard but they make this fight just for him to get target practice. It's an excuse to make a can crusher fight to further the Glover hysteria (yea, I called Te Huna a can, the whole bottom end of the division is not very talented).
They could just as easily pull Thiago Silva or Feijao out of that fight or put Machida out there and make it good. Lil Nog deserves that fight as well. The only thing that makes Te Huna a good fight in my opinion is that he will throw ugly haymakers and get KO'd in spectacular fashion.

He's fighting cans? He's only had three fights in the UFC. It wouldn't be fair to throw him to the Shoguns' and Machidas' straight out of the gate.

I think Te Huna is going to get knocked out real bad by Glover. This has fire works writen all over it for however long it lasts. Both men have some serious power in their hands I'm excited for this one

Not sure if serious, but I would take Teixeira to get takedowns and have better takedown defense than Bader in a match between the two, and if it did hit the mat, Glover would annihilate him with his transitions and jitz like he was playing with a child. Bader's best chance would be to stand and that's a tall order against Glover.

I think the hype on Glover is getting a little carried away, the guy has gotten clipped by every fighter except Kingsbury. One of them is not a one hit quitter and should be a middle wt, the other was way past his prime. He couldn't sub Page either. Bader would not have gotten balled up by Glover IMO, nor should he be cutting through a striker like Big Tuna like it was butter. I don't have that much confidence in his chin and Tuna's seems to be pretty solid. I would pick Glover by UD but wouldn't be shocked to see Tuna flash KO him as Glover prefers to bang.

This fight gets a big from DD15 This is a solid fight and Te Huna is a legit guy getting 4 straight wins impressively. Step up for sure but I see Glover by sub in this one
