Ive always been a fan of rashad, both the fighter and the person.
When he retires,rashad is going to one of the best ambassadors for this sport.

I agree with the above poster, Rashad will be a great ambassador for the sport.
I hope more fighters join Rashad with this campaign. Even if you aren't pro gay marriage you can't deny that it would go a long way towards making mma fighters look like more then savage fighting creatures.

Even before the military aloud openly gay service members we had them a plenty of both genders. Never had a problem with them and have plenty of friends who are homosexual...basically all I have ever seen in standing against it is people who are inexplicably afraid. Makes no sense to me...if it makes you happy and your not hurting anyone then I say go for it. We all deserve to be happy.

Good for Rashad. Very few athletes will touch this subject, and to have one that is a top athlete in what many consider the most mindless sport created makes the statement a bit more meaningful. Regarding things like this people just need to mind their own damned business. It really is mind boggling that this is even an issue.

I'm in the Patton Oswalt camp with homophobia, in that I don't believe homophobia usually or strictly stems from religious beliefs. Homophobia simply stems from those who believe homosexual sex is yucky. But in the specter of homophobia, God > Yucky.

My dad always called those "forgetful biscuits." Once while he was in Mexico, he asked for a quaalude equivalent because they had stopped manufacturing quaaludes.
