The first fight is on Facebook at 7:30 pm EST on Saturday.

Could we move the lock time closer to that?
Right now it's set at Friday at midnight.
I usually change my mind on a couple fights on Saturday. =)
Thanks.

is the event really going to start at like 9:30 am in Japan? The UFC in Macau started normal time locally (which was around 8am EST), so why is it different? If this is the right time, I feel sorry for those attending this event

Whenever possible, the UFC starts events at the normal (10pm EST) time, since the people who pony up for PPV's are where they make the big bucks...so rightfully so, the US audience gets catered to. However, there is a portion of the world, namely Europe and most of Asia, where it can't really be worked out that way, so you'll see the strange start times.

edit:
And this event isn't PPV, but they appear to stay consistent with their start times regardless. With the US, Canada, and Brazil all being about a half a day difference in time, it still makes sense.

The last event in Japan started at 10 on ppv and like 7 for prelims. I'm glad they found a way to keep the regular time.

Time differences are always confusing months out when these cards are announced. Thanks for the heads up. Changing it now!
