His fight last night was actually a great fight to watch. Machida was so technical and cerebral. As much as I love Hendo and the H-bomb, I easily love watching Machida slip it and counter with nice body kicks. Hendo had what two months to prepare for this fight? and it's not like Machida changed his style, Hendo simply didn't have an answer. I would have loved to see another two rounds of that fight, and feel as a fan we got robbed of watching two more outstanding rounds of true MMA. Machida has his own style and no one can duplicate it, anyone can stand and trade, but not everyone can slip H-Bombs and land counter making it look so easy.
Just my two cents. Cannot wait to see Bones vs. machida 2!

The fight was soooo intense that I had to drop the kids off at the pool....can't wait to see Machida get a West Linn honky tonk beatdown by yours truly.......
Machida's elusiveness was utterly fantastic.....against a tired 41 year old.
Just my $100.00 worth.

Booed him cause he didn't really attack And I had him losing that fight.
A couple retards near me. Quite the whole night started yelling racist Asian slurs loud at machida. I won't say what said but there was a guy half asian behind them they yelled the slurs to his face. Fuck a fight almost broke out.
Anyways two jerk got kicked out of arena.

Personally I'm glad that was not a 5 round fight. It was one of the weaker fights on the card as far as excitement goes. Machida did more circling away then anything else. Very uneventful fight to say the least. I scored it 29-28 Henderson but it was very close

You have to admit it's a little ironic to question people hating on the Machida fight, while simultaneously hating on a more exciting fight in the process.

I went pretty much as I figured it would. Dan looking to land the big ole' right hand while Machida stayed out of harms way, landing just enough to take the decison.

hendo is my favorite fighter, and i have always enjoyed watching machidas technical stand up, but that fight was SHIT. im not an uneducated fan, im an MMA fighter myself, but when i can count 28 SECONDS between exchanges (seriously, i counted) that's ridiculous and very hard to enjoy. hendo looked very uncoordinated also.

I'm not sure what everyone was expecting? This was a total clash of styles. Machida is elusive (for the love of all that is Holy, the man does NOT run away), and Hendo looks for the big bomb. Were you guys expecting Machida to stand and bang with one of the most lethal KO artists in MMA?
Machida did what he normally does, and landed a similar amount of significant strikes as Hendo.
Fickleness is a bitch.

if you applaud Machida, you by default cannot hate Guida for his style vs Maynard.

Guida landed a comical 14% of his strikes and none of them with power. Lyoto just fought the way he had too. Hendos hand speed is fast. He almost got clipped a few times.

I didn't mean this to be a slight towards Ronda's fight, I would have been happy to see this fight as the headliner in Fox Fuel 7. To be honest I just wanted 2 more rounds.
I mean Stann vs. Wand most likely won't need 10 mins to solve there differences in the cage.

Oh really? Tell me more about how Guida is known to be a great illusive cerebral striker, who makes people pay with counters.
