From the start, UFC 157 was themed as a night that would be making history. And no matter what happened Saturday night when Ronda Rousey made her first defense of the newly- created UFC women’s bantamweight title, that wasn’t going to be an overstatement. The only question is what that history was going to be.
There may be bigger fights this year, in the sense that they sell more tickets and do more pay-per-views. In fact, there will be one in just three weeks, when Georges-St. Pierre faces Nick Diaz. i was knocking wmma i guess earlier in the year. or atleast i wasnt gung ho aboug. but i went out to a bar last night to watch the card. as soon as rousey threw that left leg over her face the place went NUTS then when she actually straightene out the arm it fucking went CRAZY!!! i myself was even yelling for rousey and i though that would never happen. all i can say is damn that was pretty close to everything you would want in a fight.
bravo

i was just glad to see Ronda put in a bad position. i want her to fight a savage striker next because i think striking is Ronda's weakest point. im still irritated cyborg is out of the mix.
