If it helps a friend of mine is starting to get into mma and I told him about this site. He uses IE and had the same problem but once he switched to chrome the pop ups stopped.
I usually use the site via tablet, and there are no decent pop-up blocker about unless you root the tablet, and I'm not about to do that to use a forum.

Do those sites give away cash like we do here? Here's an idea, drop $20, no more ads, life goes on. To sweeten the pot, you get double the money should you win the game.
You've been here for 6 years, played the game, had a one stop news hub, and been part of an online community that keeps the trolls that most sties have from posting. Isn't that worth something to you?

Maybe someone should've also told you to kick rocks with your shitty attitude. You've been here 6 f'ing years and the only thing you've contributed is a bad attitude and a hard-on for Michael Bisping. Don't want the ads? Quit being a cheap bastard and pony up a 20 spot. It boils down to 5 cents a day for a Premium Membership.
Either deal with it for now until it's taken care of or stop coming here. You absolutely will not be missed if you choose the ladder.

The only "pop-ups" I'm experiencing is the constant crying from certain members that are irrelevant like the day is long.
Your computer SUCKS if you are getting them or you have never heard of adjusting your settings....either way, laters.

For all the keyboard warriors - it isn't just me complaining about the pop-ups, read back. You can't disable pop-ups on a mobile device, you'd know that if you read the thread.
I run two other forums elsewhere, the hosting fees are small and there are no adverts. I know this place is different, size etc, but there were already a ton of ads before, but these additions have made it virtually unusuable.
I didn't start the personal shit in this thread, it seems you can't point out things to improve without invoking a litany of bullshit.
I don't know of any other forum online that requires payment to make it usable for the community.
The backlash displayed here isn't a great advert (ha) for the site either.

Once you drop an ultimatum on us and let us know "the tough shit attitude isn't going to work", I'd say that you let us know it's personal and that you were taking a stand against the site. Then you proceeded to comment on another member that said he went premium with a snarky comment.
There's an old saying about flies and vinegar, which you brought to the thread instead of honey. Vinegar is also a key component in douche. Coincidence?

I can confirm that the problem was with IE (big surprise) on my work computer. When I got home and tried my personal with chrome all was well.

I am getting brutalized by pop ups. I just closed 8 to get to this forum. I dont mind the advertising but the pop ups are brutal. It has only started the last few weeks.

Pop-up have all but gone.
