Saturday MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani tweeted the following bit of news Saturday:

Mayday is now sitting where he belongs. Dana says no co-main yet for 4/6. I was told it was gonna be Miesha-Cat, but that was moved to 4/13.

Helwani is referring to Miesha Tate vs. Cat Zingano which will be on The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale on April 13 in Las Vegas, Nevada and not UFC on Fuel TV 9: Gustafsson vs. Mousasi, where it would have co-mained the card.

for the people confused about the "Mayday is now where he belongs" part, Helwani had been tweeting that Mayday was sitting at the end of the table at the press conference & i guess he was finally moved to a more acceptable seat for a main eventer

Even if I accept the explanation as accurate, I just don't get that. If you're "progressive" (as a general statement about the country) and you allow men to fight, why would they have a problem with women fighting?

Sweden card is pretty much full
So I guess Tate vs cat may just be on the main card at the tuf finale

If that happened, it would almost be a guarantee that more people would see that fight than Rousey-Carmouche (which really should have been on Fox or something).
