LAS VEGAS – While former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar said he's not really sure what the future holds, UFC President Dana White said it won't include a return to 155 pounds.

in a perfect world, edgar moves to bantamweight but i dont see that happening. i think he could earn himself another title shot at 145 if he beats a few top guys.

i think this is an awesome match up. I think mendes has looked awesome as of late, and really was doing quite well with edgar until he got caught with the knee. He is a carbon copy of edgar but with more power.
If these two where to be matched up, i would have to take mendes..he is no joke.

I think his place is at 155. A few people touched on it, what makes him a great fighter at LW is he is quicker than the big guys and while most little LWs get tossed around Edgar has got the TDD to stay on his feet.
Edgar's place is at LW but I got a feeling the Bald Father wants to keep him away from the LWs bc he knows Edgar could beat most of the potential contenders there.
