Quinton "Rampage" Jackson might not have given us everything we wanted in his farewell UFC fight, but he did give us all that we had a right to expect.

He came, he saw, he took his beating bravely. He went down but refused to stay put. He threw murderous hooks and uppercuts that sliced through the air, finding nothing. He looked at times like he might have wanted to quit, but he never did. Only in brief spasms did he resemble a fighter the UFC might be willing to shell out the big bucks in order to retain. At no point did he seem particularly bothered by that fact...

Ohhh ramPage, sweet ramPaGe, you made negative comments about fighters not standing with you and taking you down and blah, blah, blah and YET you try and FAIL and two takedowns yourself.....poor fella.

What will Chael The Great memories be on mr JackSon????

Rampage has made close-captioning fun to read.

Damn. . . That's a harsh thing to read! Im guessing whoever wrote it has never liked Rampage much. Hes past it now but the dude was wirhout a doubt the best in the world for a while!

Yeah, the fight was kinda pathetic. If you tell people you just want to bang bro you shouldnt shoot for a takedown. If you want your last fight to be a war then you should have enough cardio to keep up your hands for three rounds.

I was at the stadium too. Everyone was cheering hard for Rampage and the best he could do was ask for more punishment. SMH

Agreed. Rogan kept saying how Rampage came in at 204 and looked great. He was gassed after 3 minutes. His two take down attempts were two of the weakest things I have ever seen. He did seem to have and heart or determination in there. Part of me was hoping for a crazy Rampage KO, but the other part of me just felt sorry for him the whole time. He looked weak and beaten. HE'S DONE.

Rampage came to fight, and threw down the way he wanted to and complimented his opponent. He kept up the same pace the entire fight, and was more fresh the last round. He took some huge hits, which would slow down anyone. Why are people giving him shit? The man can be ridiculous, but he deserves more respect in the octagon.

He hasnt looked good or entertaining since he fought guys like Wandy and Jardine. He isnt the same anymore. He looks lazy and lost out there.

getting dropped and defending from full and back mount for most of the first round will drain most fighters, especially at the higher weights. He could have done the Tito and just become a punching bag for the final round, but he hung in there and battled. It's not like Glover was a cardio machine either for someone in control of the majority of the fight

There is no love lost for rampage from the comments that I've read over the last few weeks. Yeah he may be a POS personallity wise, but I could care less about what most fighters are like outside the cage. IMO he is still gonna go down as one of the greats that I always got excited to watch.
