Any word on his return? I know he's been rehabbing injuries but he hasn't fought since September 2010.

That's a long time! Last I remember of him was Evan Dunham whooping that ass but Sherk still "won" the decision. I don't know where he is at but damn it would be great to have him back "in the mix" at 155.

Agree! At the time of the Dunham win he still had a few fights left in him. Not sure if that's the case anymore.

I'd be real interested in seeing how Sherk does in the LW division now. I wonder if we will get to see him back in the octagon

With his build and his age, he might have to follow what many of the under sized fighters are doing and drop a class. It sucks in the fighting world that an injury makes you nearly irrelevant and people forget that you're even out there still.

I think he's done. We would have heard something by now on him.

Isn't he in his forties now? They can't all be Randy!

Turning 40 later on this year. My guess is he's done. That or he'll come back and get beaten handily and then retire.

I wanted to see him fight at FW at least once before retirement.

he should just stay retired or whatever he is. there is no reason to comeback at 40 yrs old after being out for 3 years. i have no desire to see him return. he would be taking up a spot on a card that could be used for an up and comer.

I thought I saw something with him saying he was coming back recently.

I don't need to see him back, though.

I think Sherk should retire, he has been away too long. If he comes back, these new breed of fighters will all wanna get a "W" against a name like Sean Sherk on their fight records. I dont want to see Sherk get ko'd or submitted by a name not worthy of being in the octagon with him.

I think he could still compete at a high level. Do I think he could win the belt? No. Will he make it interesting? I think so
