Just when you thought things couldn't get any crazier in regard to this Saturday's K-1 Dynamite USA card, something new happens that completely boggles the mind.

Former TUF 5 contestant Gabe Ruediger has been selected to compete on this Saturday's card during the non-televised portion of the event as an injury replacement. Ruediger was going to fight at a catch weight of 161 pounds. However, he has been denied a license by the California State Athletic Commission.

No official reason has been given, but word is that the head of CSAC, Armando Garcia, saw a tape of TUF 5 and deemed Ruediger mentally unfit to fight after he determined that he had a "mental breakdown" on the show.

hah.. kind of funny. I'm pretty sure everyone thought his behaviour on the show was a disgrace to the sport and the athletes who train so hard to compete in it, but at the same time you are right that it seems ridiculous for them to deny him a license for the reason cited. This actually might work out in his favour somehow.

yeah, you could say gabe made the sport look bad and all that, and dana was right with everything he said on the show, but really he screwed himself over more than anything. how can you have him on the card and remove him based on something you see on a reality show?

He cut, he cut alot of weight. His problem was he's a lazy, juck food eating baby. If he wasn't such a lazy whiner he could fight at 170.
