I can't believe anyone thought JDS could beat healthy Cain.

do u realize that Cain couldnt even get JDS down, till he caught JDS with that punch..if Cain never landed that, im sure JDS would have won, cuz even with a rocked JDS, Cain was still 50% on his TD attempts and JDS kept popping back up...

To be fair, its usually easier to land takedowns the further into the fight you go. The punch helped, no doubt, but JDS cardio wasn't that great and in return his reaction speed went south also

yeah but, it wasn't like cain was disguising his takedowns at all during the beginning. He was just overly desperate to get him down.

How can you say if Cain never landed that punch in the 1st round he wouldn't have won ?? JDS was already gassing at that point. Even when JDS somewhat recovered towards the end of the fight, Cain was still dominating him.

The key to the main event was Cain's relentless pressure took JDS out of his element. In every single fight, JDS has been able to dictate the fight to his own pace, get his feet set and land those killer body shots or KO head shots. Last night he could not get in a rhythm. Even those failed toe pick attempts in the first round were pretty effective in hindsight.

Congrats to Cain for imposing his gameplan for 25 minutes straight

btw can anyone explain the 30-27 for Guillard?
