"You know, there always is [an interest in fighting again] and it never really left me, but the reason I kinda retired was I just wasn't putting in enough time in the family and I just can't commit myself to that kind of training anymore where I'm gone at all times every time, so, you never know. I always say if maybe something came up with a guy I want to fight, something happens to his opponent like a week out I might take that, so that could happen. Barring that? No I'm not, I'm not going to go back to training full time."

"No, I don't really care about [it being a title fight], it's more about the type of person, you know I want - there's a few guys, you know man like a Nick Diaz type guy who, I like Nick I wouldn't really want to fight him, but maybe something like who, I like the way he comes forward to fight you, to punch you in the face and take you go out and just go the whole time and doesn't really care about a decision. That's the way I am, so, guys like that, you know, I always like the way certain guys like that fight. Maybe like a Carlos Condit, something like that those type of fights interest me. But, you know, those are kind of big fights that I don't see happening unless their opponent pulls out at the last minute and they need somebody."

To this fight I say yes, yes, yes, a million times yes. Even if lytle did get beat, this fight would have fireworks written all over it. It would be guaranteed fight of the night.

i would favor diaz, but i think lytle would pose some problems....good boxing, decent power...my only questions would be ring rust

I would cut one of my fingers off to watch Lytle come out of retirement to beat the tar out of Diaz!

I'd like to see it but I'm not a fan of guys coming back from retirement.

I respect Lytle a lot. He's shown he has insane natural ability. He's a Firefighter that beats up professional MMA fighters

Gotta love fighters like Lytle. Personally, I think Diaz would light him up, but at least he would push forward the entire fight, and not run.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in a rematch with Hardy.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

Don't do it, Chris!

If any fighter has ever had a more timely and graceful departure from the sport of MMA its Lytle. Don't be like every other old fighter who is forced out after their body fails them while losing half a dozen times in a row.

I'd come in my pants to see Lytle fight a 'Nick Diaz type guy'.

I so unfortunately agree...love Lytle but like it was said, ring rust is a mother and training for one week to fight a Condit or Diaz is nuts!
