Promotion officials are currently hard at work trying to assemble the UFC 157 fight card, and it looks like they’re trying to fill it up before everyone checks out for a little holiday cheer.
The UFC announced a couple of UFC 157 bouts on Wednesday, and MMAWeekly.com confirmed reports of an as yet unofficial match-up between Josh Koscheck and former Strikeforce fighter Robbie Lawler.
The Koscheck vs. Lawler bout was first reported by the Orange County Register.
The two will meet in a welterweight match-up on Feb. 23 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

I have always preferred Lawler at MW. I cant even remember the last time he competed at 170. I'll be rooting for Robbie but more than likely wont be taking him as my pick

I knew kos was gonna be on the card. But never thought About this fight. Maybe thought tyronne Woodley.
I like this fight. But Robbie hasn't fought at welterweight since matt Hughes was champ That was the reason he moved up to middleweight I believe it was after nick Diaz knocked him out That was like maybe 8 or 9 years ago
I do like Robbie. I actually hopes he wins

I love Robbie Lawler. I'll be rooting for him in the upset.
But if Kos is smart he should be able to wrestle him to death.

Spot on. This is really a terrible match up. I'm not very interested in seeing Kos vs Daley 2 at this point. They should have matched him up with Erik Silva so that we could at least see some fireworks.

Bad match up for Robbie. I got Kos all day in this one.

Damn. I'm a huge Lawler fan but his ground game is shit. Can't stand Koscheck, though. Here's to hoping Lawler knocks him around!

Bleh. Both equally unimpressive.
Kos I think will try and stand with Lawler unless Lawler hits him good, which doesn't seem likely at this point.
