I liked charlie ever since he stepped up and worked story. I don't think he's super exciting, but that was a huge underdog win. Tough for me not to support the guy

And chocked out by Silva.

I thought I read that Ufc cut him after loss to noke

they did cut him. he's fighting in a small organization close to his hometown.

Several grapplers that used to be WW have dropped to LW and become significant where before they weren't (TJ Grant, Jacob Volkmann, etc). While Charlie is kinda one-dimensional, I could see him having a shot against most guys outside the top 10 at LW.
