The injuries and illnesses continue to wreak havoc on UFC on FOX 5's preliminary card. After Brendan Schaub vs. Lavar Johnson was scrapped as the leading prelim fight on FX, Michael Chiesa vs. Marcus LeVesseur became the new "feature fight". As of today that is no longer the case, as Chiesa has been forced off the card according to the UFC's official twitter account.

TUF Live winner Michael Chiesa forced off Saturday's Seattle card due to illness - get well soon, @mikemav22

Here's a side note not in the article. Max Holloway wants to fill in.

@danawhite if you need a replacement for @mikemav22 Lmk!

That's too bad for Chiesa.
If Holloway wants to step up they should go ahead and book it. Mad props for wanting to step up on a week's notice.

Rats. I was looking forward to having a great chance at winning a huge bet on LeVesseur.

It seems like this year when a fight is announced its more or less a coin toss if it actually happened (or will happen).

Would love to see Holloway step in. Too bad about Chiesa,I thought he was a lock.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

Bummer

Props to Holloway for stepping up, even more props if he could actually make the weight, without it being a catch weight.

Glad to see Ufc make their weekly fight scratch quota per card

This is getting ridiculous. Two scratches now in a week
Last card ring fight cancelled before fight.

Fuck. Ufc just make 14 fight cards now.

I say just put chiesa vs levesseur on Ufc 155
Event only has 12, fights
He is only ill not hurt. damm to think I haven't called in sick at work for over 12 years. Even when I am sick
