right now it's tough to say, they ran out of HW competition for him lol, and now with the whole UFC buying pride thing I don't think he'll fight until he's in the UFC(soon).

Hopefully its someone from Pride or the UFC, Josh Barnett Preferably, I Hope its not another Bodog fight because who do they have for him to fight ????

Maybe theyll make Eddie Aleverez move up to heavyweight to fight him like Matt Lindland did

How about a rematch with Zuluzinho.

I think Fedor would destroy Randy. The best match up would be against Barnett. I would be happy with Crocop or Arlovski as well. The Big Nog rematch can wait for a while. Lets get some new faces in there, but please no Zulu's or Middleweight's PLEASE!

Josh Bartnett would be great. I can't think of a nicer guy to hand Fedor his first true defeat than Josh

You really believe Barnetts the man to do this?

I think he could... Hell, Hunt had a sub in fairly tight. If Hunt can do it, Barnett can.

Here is a little MMA math. It took 8 mins for Fedor to beat Hunt by Kimura, but only took 2 mins for Barnett to beat Hunt by Kimura. It can happen.

Side note... Hey Hunt, look out for the Kimura!

i really hope randy beats GG then i wont have to hear how great he is because of 1 win, houston alexander too, 1 win doesnt make a guy the beat all end all. doesnt anyone remember the GG jordan fight? it was ass until there were 30 seconds left in the fight, and no one talked about how great GG was then. im getting tired of people jumping all over a guys bandwagon after 1 win against a guy whose bandwagon they were on before he got beat. as a sports fan i have a favorite, or favorites and stick with them...thats called being a fan and not being fairweather. if the clippers win the nba title next year ill be so pissed when i see a jackass walking down the street in a clippers jersey when i know damn well he wasnt with them in the ron harper days. im not saying GG isnt a good fighter by any means i just wonder where all his "fans" were prior to the CC fight. and i think barnett is the next in line for a shot at fedor, hes earned it and is really the last pride HW on the top tier for fedor to beat.

well I'm not traditionally one to take excuses at face value, but Gonzaga had a pretty good one for that fight. He didn't train at all because one of his children died at birth and his wife nearly did too, so he had to take care of them. I agree that it's silly for people to put so much hype behind fighters after a single fight, and that I doubt Gonzaga is ready for Fedor, but he has shown himself to be a very good fighter in more matches than just the Crocop match, the thing about the Crocop match is that he not only showed that his striking has improved greatly (not just with the kick, his footwork was great earlier in the round) but he showed it to us against one of the best strikers in the world.

I'm not jumping the GG bandwagon yet. I still want to see him fight a top UFC fighter who is compfortable in the cage and has a great ground game. That would be couture. If he beats couture I'll be a believer, and then I will cry because I love captain america.

I'm not ready to say he's ready for coture, let alone fedor. Mirko clearly wasn't himself anyone who has ever seen him fight knows that. Do I know all about Gonzaga? Yes. Do I think he has some good tools? Yes. Do I think he's ready to fight one of the best MMA fighters the sport has ever seen? Nope.

Fedor and Gonzaga wouldn't be amazing, it would be decent, sure gonzaga is good but the only reason he got into the spotlight is because cro cop took him lightly, he always does with underdog fights. observe the kevin randleman fight, first fight - KTFO cro cop, 2nd fight, cro cop actually took into concideration that randleman was actually impressive so he trained way harder than he did in the previous fight... he won it because of it.
So i dont think gonzaga could take fedor, but once i think about it,
neither can cro cop.

Considering Fedor has been training w/my boy Lebanner and Ernesto Hoost. He is going to be even more dangerous in his next fight. They need to steal DNA from Randy and CC and combine them. Seriously though, I dont know, but here is my top 5 to do it:

1. Josh Barnett
2. Randy
3. CC
4. Arlovski (I dont know why, but just a funny feeling)
5. Soko (If he gained weight) I think he has the right background to counter his clinches. As for standup, uhm...?)

I cant say GG just yet. I havnt seen him take a punch and I havnt seen him against any other reputable fighters.
