Sixty-eight professional mixed martial arts fights, no matter against who or where, is not too shabby.

The fact that Rich Clementi has done it all across the country and around the world for the biggest promotions just has to be icing on the cake. But this week, after 13 years in the sport, Clementi decided to hang up the gloves.

Just three days after a loss in Bellator's lightweight tournament semifinals, Clementi announced his retirement on his Facebook page.

losing by a toe hold is a sad way to go out, but I always enjoyed his fights...even if he did get a gift over Stout

Major props to Clementi. 68 fights is no joke.

He's had a good career. It sucks that he lost the way he did in his last fight (Poor game plan imo) but he's had some very bright spots during his career that I personally won't forget.

Decent fighter. 68 fights in his career and he's only 35 years old, pretty impressive.

Yeah, not sure what is worse, a toe hold, or going out punch drunk with zero chin left.
