Stephan Bonnar not only failed his UFC 153 postfight drug test, he failed promotion president Dana White.

White has opted not to speak with the recently retired light heavyweight since the test results were revealed.

Bonnar, 35, tested positive for Drostanolone, an anabolic steroid, after suffering a first-round TKO loss Oct. 13 to middleweight champion Anderson Silva in Rio de Janeiro.A little more than two weeks after the loss, Bonnar announced his retirement from mixed martial arts.

Did he really think he had a better chance with steroids?

It's a damn shame this is how Bonnar went out.

Bonnar shot himself in the foot, for doing work for the UFC, either with broadcasting, or being an ambassador, like Chuck.

I'll miss Bonnar, but I feel like Dana is handling it the right way

I think the key question here still remains the same....how the hell did Bonnar even get that fight in the first place? Soooooooo many other more deserving fighters

Bonnar probably ruined his chance to ever work for the Ufc as a broadcaster or anything of the sort

Not interested in talking to Bonnar, but plenty interested in talking to fresher talent that has been popped in the past. At least he's consistent

What a shame. Bonnar lost to the GOAT on steroids when the main event was scheduled to be Aldo vs Koch.

The event got a total gate of $2.5 million and got 400,000+ buys. Nothing bad in the long term came from Bonnar being on steroids as he's now retired.

Him and Anderson saved a PPV.

How about your star LHW. You're Champion and the fastest rising star in MMA?

You don't like when fighters turn down fights on short notice but when Jones does it you turn a blind eye?

Whether he was on steroids or not he put money in your pocket and kept a card from being cancelled in a Brazillian market whereby they'd be pissed if you cancelled on them.

Dana's been a right dick today

Dana was pretty outspoken about JJ and Especially Greg Jackson for turning down the original Chael fight, he definitely didn't turn a blind eye.

I think this is all a front for the fans/public.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dana knew beforehand that Bonnar would test positive and that he would retire after the fight.

Better chance? Yes.

Good chance? No.
