Nick Ring (13-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) is out of tonight's UFC 154 event, and his fight with fellow middleweight Constantinos Philippou (11-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) has been canceled.

UFC officials today announced Ring fell ill and wasn't cleared to compete.

Officials subsequently announced lightweight grapplers Rafael dos Anjos (17-6 MMA, 6-4 UFC) and Mark Bocek (11-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) have taken their spot on the pay-per-view main card.

Really.. Thought Costa was a lock and had a huge amount on him, as well as a solid parlay option

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

Very very disappointing. I'm also scrambling to switch my bets.

Ring looked awful at the weigh-ins. When he first walked on stage he was dark around the eyes and looked out of it.

Damnit Ring.... Costa was definitely the lock of the card imo. He had decent odds IRL too, I was gonna try to put some cash on him last minute.

Nah. GSP's the lock of the card. You'll see.

A guy coming off an injury like he did is not the lock of this card, whether he wins tonight or not.
