Vinicius Queiroz's manager thinks the referee may have contributed to the fighter's loss to Alexander Volkov at this past Friday's Bellator 80.

An email protesting the officiating today was forwarded to MMAjunkie.com.

"[Referee James] Warring could have contributed to [and] altered the result of the fight after he ordered the fighters to rise up with [after] only 15 seconds [on the ground] … in a moment that was favorable for Vincius," manager Josef Borges wrote to the Florida State Boxing Commission, which oversaw the event at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla.

The ref did make one of the fastest stand ups I've ever seen to be honest

Agreed. Seems like he stood them up within 10 seconds of the fight hitting the floor.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

yeah, Jimmy was talking about the guy too. He also messed up the "mohawk" rule for strikes to the head and was also warning Vinicius not to "use his forehead" which isn't really a rule (as opposed to an actual headbutt).

Very disappointing situation.

That was one of the worst referee performances I've ever seen. Makes me wonder if this was his first time ever reffing.
Don't use your head to pivot, don't hit the mohawk area of the head, the official warning between rounds and the quick standup.
The only thing that wasn't bad was the stoppage. It was everything else leading up to the stoppage.

For you guys and gals that didn't see it, click on the link above for the full fight. Or if you just want to watch this sadness again.

I was screaming at the TV while the fight was happening.Terrible job by the ref but I don't see anything being overturned. I'm guessing this guy is a boxing ref.
