According to a report by the Chicago Sun Times, Clay Guida will be debuting at featherweight vs. Hatsu Hioki in January at UFC On Fox: Johnson Vs. Dodson. The bout will serve as a Homecoming fight for Guida, who hails from Illinois.
Guida (29-13) decided to move down to featherweight after a pair of losses to Gray Maynard and current UFC lightweight champion Ben Henderson. He had won four straight fights prior to the losing skid.
The UFC on Fox 6 lineup is quickly filling up, as the main event features UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson facing John Dodson. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. Glover Teixeira and Anthony Pettis vs. Donald Cerrone are also scheduled.

Interesting fight.
Hioki's got the edge in technique and range, but Guida (as usual) will have the edge in speed and hustle. I've got 2 questions coming into this -
1) Can Hioki get Guida to the ground? I don't imagine it'd happen through shooting takedowns, more from judo throws and trips from the clinch. If he can catch Guida, he has a chance to get him to the mat, and from there it'll be a war between Hioki's suffocation vs Guida's scrambling. But that's the issue - can Hioki tie up Guida long enough to work those throws and trips.
2) Will Guida repeat the same erratic bobbing and non-engagement he did against Maynard? Hioki's standup is still rudimentary, but he can still catch Guida coming in with a straight right. I think Jackson's camp will push for more aggression, but if Guida fails to engage even in this fight, I'm reasonably confident he'll be a lame duck in the UFC (if not cut entirely).
This fight has a high chance for supreme boredom, but I'll still pay attention for the career ramifications.

If Guida comes in and utilizes his wrestling I think he takes this on decision and throws himself right into the mix at 145

I agree with WAR HIOKI
Also, I think you should probably avoid watching Guida fights in the future, because he is bound to win some of them.
Heck, he may beat Hioki.
