Performify here, back from UFC 71 with some pretty decent news to share from the UFC 71 post-fight press conference.
Dana White opened the press conference by reporting that UFC 71 was a sellout with a crowd of 14,728 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena paying a gate of $4.3 million. This made it the second-biggest gate in UFC history, behind last December’s UFC 66 (Liddell vs. Ortiz II) which drew $5.1 million. He reported that the UFC knew they had a big event on their hands when “we had over 3000 people at the weigh ins.”

Well, I posted something for another news post here by mistake, so I'll edit this to say how great it would be to see Fedor in there against Couture and Gonzaga.
I wonder if Chuck would ever get his proposed match against Fedor.

Two great pieces of news from that article!
1) Serra and Hughes do the next TUF show
2) UFC will come to Chicago in 2008

Fedor is the obvious opponent for the Courure V Gonzaga winner.....especially since the arlovski wont be getting a shot next.

I think that Fedor beating GG or Couture will solidify him as a legend. And i believe even if he loses he will still be a legend in MMA
