A legend in boxing left us today.

Steward trained Championship boxers including, but not limited to:
Tommy Hearns
Lennox Lewis
Evander Holyfield
Oscar De La Hoya
Miguel Cotto
Wladimir Klitschko
Prince Naseem Hamed

I always enjoyed listening to him talk boxing & although he trained some fighters I was never a fan of, I always have had the utmost respect for him. RIP.

Sad to hear. He still seemed healthy and sharp not long ago as an announcer. One of the best trainers and announcers of this generation IMO.

Wonder how this will effect Wladamir's upcoming fight.

I wouldn't say he is the easily the greatest trainer ever, as there are guys like Dundee and Roach who boast pretty impressive resumes as well.

Definitely gonna be weird for awhile not seeing him on HBO boxing, or with the fighters he has trained. Boxing truly lost a great guy today!!

Legend. R.I.P

Although not a fan of MMA, he also did a bit with Miguel Torres a while ago.
