Still 10 days from its debut, World Series of Fighting has made another change in its broadcast booth.

The promotion on Tuesday announced its official team to call World Series of Fighting 1 will be Todd Harris and Bas Rutten. Rutten already had been attached to the card, but Harris is a new addition.

WSOF 1 takes place Nov. 3 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The event's main card airs live on NBC Sports Network.

i like Bas but i dont particularly like his commentating. i think commentators need to be picked very carefully in a brand new organization.

I think I've been the only person in the twitter campaign to get Todd Harris doing play by play on the UFC on FUEL/FX broadcasts. I always liked Harris. I'm glad he is getting back in to calling MMA, but I sure wish it was for the UFC. He should have replaced Anik or Kenflo months ago, in my opinion.

I like Bas a lot. I too think his commentating could be improved a bit, but I'll take him over Mauro any day (not that Mauro was being considered).

agreed, Mauro has overstayed his welcome in the commentating business. i was trying to think of other commentators that could do it, there are some fighters that are pretty good at it, but most of them are either employed already or in the ufc.

I like Bas but he is better as a third wheel. Harris will play the dummy role (should be pbp but in MMA it is the dummy who asks questions the casuals wanna ask, and makes the observations that the casuals perceive), and that means Bas has to carry all the weight as the expert. He'd be better off with someone else to share the load and allow him to get off on tangents and storytelling.
