The UFC doesn't have another event for three weeks, so for the time being they're rolling out a laundry list of scheduled fights, including a key featherweight matchup this December. Erik Koch, who has twice been unable to fight Jose Aldo for the title, faces off against rising contender Ricardo Lamas at UFC 155 in Las Vegas. News of this fight was reported by MMA Opinion:
It looks like Ricardo Lamas vs Erik "New Breed" Koch has been agreed for UFC 155.

Great match up. I'm leaning towards Lamas on decision but its a close fight. Koch is dangerous if Lamas isnt careful he may end up getting knocked out

yeah i agree, lamas would have got heaps of confidence after his last win. He looked very good in that fight...i think lamas can smother koch.

Ricardo really opened a lot of eyes against Hioki while Koch has been out of commission for awhile. Neither of them beat Aldo, but I have Lamas to beat Koch here by Decision.. like how Brookins should've gotten the nod against Koch...

Sucks for Koch not getting a title fight, but this will be an awesome fight. I like Koch for the win.

Fight makes since to me. Both top 10 in their division. And the winner should get the next title fight. That is whenever Aldo can fight Edgar, And who knows when that will be? Aldo is injury prone. Lamas vs Koch, there will be no big favorite if you ask me. A tough fight to pick IMO. But I would like to see that fight go down for sure.
But if TKZ is available to fight soon, he should get a title shot above either one of these guys. Aldo vs TKZ or Edgar vs TKZ would be more interesting to me then Koch or Lamas.

Lamas all day in this fight for me. Koch hasn't fought since sept 2011 and hasn't been fighting the same level of competition as Lamas while Lamas has looked spectacular as of late. I just can't go with Koch in this one, should deffs be a barn burner though
