A bantamweight matchup between T.J. Dillashaw (6-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) and Mike Easton (13-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) has been verbally agreed to for December's "UFC on FOX 5: Henderson vs. Diaz" event, and bout agreements are expected to be finalized shortly.

UFC officials recently announced the addition to the card.

UFC on FOX 5 takes place Dec. 8 at Seattle's KeyArena and features a headliner of UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson vs. top contender Nate Diaz. The evening's main card airs on FOX.

Very nice addition I wonder what's next for Michael McDonald now, cuz I was pretty certain they'd put him against Easton.

Hopefully they try and get Barao to fight McDonald. Not making that fight is a crime imo.

As for this match up, I like it. Easton surprised me against Menjivar. If he can look good against Dillashaw he might be ready for a number 1 contender's fight.

This is a big step up for Dillashaw. Easton in his last fight looked great against Menjivar, and in my opinion Ivan has been hanging around the top of the bantam weights for a while now.

I'm leaning towards Easton but Dillashaw is a tough kid

This should definitely cement the winner as top 5. I thought Easton derserved credit before the Ivan fight

I thought Easton was going to get a #1 contender's fight? Is Dillashaw even top 10?

As for Brandao vs Macdonald, I dont think that makes sense atm as Brandao is on a 1 fight win streak. Macdonald vs Brad Pickett maybe?

Nice fight.

My guess is. If Barao waits for Cruz which he shouldnt

Either faber vs Pickett
Mcdonald vs wineland or Bowles

Or faber vs mcdonald
Pickett vs either one.

Or Pickett vs mcdonald for number one contender
Who faber fights next then who knows.

I really like this fight. Both coming off impressive wins. The winner would definitely solidify themselves as a legit contender in the Bantamweight division.

Since Dillashaw lost to Dodson he has been winning impressively. Seems to be getting better with each fight.
I really think Dillashaw can win this fight against the Hulk.

Good match making.

I like your ideas too prozac. I'd like to see Renan Barao vs Mayday Mcdonald. But we know Barao is waiting for Cruz and that sucks.

I really like Mayday vs Pickett or Wineland. Either fight has FOTN written all over it.
