The UFC's annual year-end card in Las Vegas is set for Dec. 29 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The long-talked about event was made official by the UFC on Friday for the date and location that previously had been reported by MMAjunkie.com. Though the event number and date were known, the MGM Grand location had not been made formal until Friday, nor had the main event.

Headlining the card, as expected, is a title fight between heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos meets ex-titleholder Cain Velasquez in the pay-per-view's main event.

It's only a matter of time until they tap into "Jerry World" for events. It would make Dana so happy from a attendance standpoint that I would see them holding events there a few times a year

I know they are Jerry Jones and Dana White are all about money but I see their personalities as a clash...

Im sure it will happen one day...

I have never been to an event and almost went but last second before buying a ticket thoguht money could be spent way better.....I mean I am sure the atmosphere is great but I think of it like the best seat ringside I am guessing you are still 20 feet away from the octagons action inside...With my luck the camera man and ref would be in my way the whole night...

On tv for any sport is the best view IMO...but I do want to go just one time..

I highly doubt that unless they mega stack the cards. Toronto had a tough time selling tickets to the ACC last event when like 18 months ago they set an attendance record at the Rogers Center.

I believe that they could fill Cowboy Stadium 1ยท2 times a year with nice cards. I even believe that Dana and company would lower tickets prices just to fill the place. They would make ot a point to fill it, at least for the first event

Yeah and we could have had at Cowboy Stadium too if GSP had agreed to fight Anderson like Anderson and the fans wanted. Anderson has agreed to fight 170 so it could've been for the WW title since GSP doesn't want to move up. The timing would have worked if they planned it ahead of time instead of booking Anderson at 153 and gotten some other main event for that card. 153 didn't need Anderson, look at 147 it was mostly a Brazilian no named card and they still nearly sold out I think.

I can't wait for this fight. If it lasts more than 1 round I would be happy.
