Sometimes, moving up means moving out.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight Dustin Poirier has left the Gladiators Academy in South Louisiana to join the established mixed martial arts (MMA) stars at American Top Team (ATT) in Coconut Creek, Florida, home to several current and former Octagon veterans.

I couldn't agree more. Poirier has a ton of potential and I think the move to a new more credentialed camp just may propel him to a championship.

Good decision on his part. He's scheduled to be in MS this weekend supporting Gladiators at the Atlas Fights event. Wonder if it's still happening.

Just to and use an f-ed out cliché, iron sharpens iron.

I'm sure Gladiators Academy has some good coaches and training partners, but ATT is the kind of camp Poirier should have been with for a while now.
