There is a chapter on Group Theory and it's uses in QM. Also, a chapter on Complex analysis, although it is a wise idea to read a book entirely devoted to this subject.

Overall, I like this book very much.....Daddy ChaCha recommends this

I'm with bojanglz and grappler. Although I do find occasions where I get lost in a book, it's rarely while reading any kind of fiction. The last books I read were actually books I wanted to reread.

I've never seen the show of the same name, but I recommend "The Elegant Universe" to everyone. I know I referenced it on the PG before. Amazing introduction to physics, you don't need to be mathematically or scientifically inclined for it to make sense. Brian Greene is amazing with metaphors. This book changed my perception of life itself. Not because of string theory, but just the breakdowns of proven Newtonian and relativistic physics. Very eye opening.

"The Tao of Physics" changed my life, and perception thereof, yet again. It compares quantum physics to Eastern mysticism/religions like Zen, Buddhism, Hinduism etc. AMAZING book. It basically shows the teachings of these ancient religions to be physically proven through quantum physics. Insane stuff.

If you have a closed mind, you won't enjoy it.

Lately I have just been reading whatever is cheap for Kindle so nothing too deep. Currently I'm reading a short novel called " Bones: The Complete Apocalypse Saga" yeah its a zombie book (shame on me) but it is different because it is told through the eyes of "Bones", a police cadaver dog. I'm not too far into it but so far I enjoy it for what it is. Maybe it's just because I love dogs.

I wish I could do that. I'm the exact opposite though. Usually, if I'm not hooked within the first few chapters, I'll give up.
