Long day for me and it gets longer....my work has us on mandatory 10 hour days again. So between Monday and today I am already at 21 hours, and still have more to go today. Need some topics to get me going. This may not be the best, but oh well.

Mine last book I have completed was:
Red: My Uncensored Life In Rock
Which is a book about Sammy Hagar's Life.

Thought it was pretty awesome. All his tour stories were pretty amazing. Good read for me especially because Im a huge Van Halen fan...(someone will eat that up, probably Fleek)

Rage by Stephen King, it's banned over in the US because you guys carry it with you to all the school shootings you do -seriously. It's a short story more than a book, but it's a good read.

Book I want to read next is the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a Chinese classic. Apparently an epic- like Homer's the Iliad, but asian.

Edit: Also want to read A Kingdom of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin - recently made into the popular 'Game of Thrones' series

I used to read a lot before this new job. At least 1 to 2 books a week. Was going to get a Kindle or some Ebook reader but I would rarely use it now.

Last book was

and

Good inside books on the late night wars when Carson was stepping down and then the whole NBC Conan thing.

I'm reading All Creatures Great and Small right now, never read it before and I like it a lot. Finished The Amityville Horror and Rosemary's Baby in the past month and both were waaay better than the movies.

I tried to read 50 Shades of Grey a couple of months ago, and although I've walked out of movies before, I never just put a book down and stopped reading it until this smoldering turd. For all the hype behind it, I thought it was just awful for the 60 or 70 pages I read. Maybe it got better, like if someone else wrote the rest of it from that point on and there were some zombies or vikings introduced to the story, but it sure didn't seem like it was going down that road...

It's been years since I've read a book. I used to read Dean Koontz all the time, but the last book I've read was probably Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Reading isn't something that I find a great deal of pleasure in. Frankly it feels far more like work than leisure to me. As such, I'm just not interested in stories. I need to be able to gain some sort of knowledge to take away for the time that I've invested.

In the process of finishing:

After which I'll be getting into:
