Since defeating Tim Sylvia to win the UFC heavyweight title in 2008, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira has alternated between wins and losses in the division.
A masterful performance has been followed up with a tough loss every time for Nogueira, but after having his arm shattered by Frank Mir at UFC 140 last year, the Brazilian legend returned to form with his own submission victory over Dave Herman on Saturday night.
Following the win, the questions of retirement kept coming at Nogueira, but he says that he’s still got time left in fighting, and he wants to spend it gunning for the best fighters in the UFC heavyweight division

I wouldn't worry about fighting JDS just yet, Nog. What I would truly like to see would be a rematch with Mir, but being that he's 0-2, a third match wouldn't make much sense. I don't think he would fight BiggySmallFoot, and if he wants a top 10 that cuts down the list quite a bit. Possible matchups in that region (more or less) would be Rothwell, Werdum, or Struve. All in or within 2 fighters of top 10 and all without an opponent, as far as I know.

Kongos the most interesting to me
Kongo seems to be in love with wrestling currently and Nog seems to love striking
I'd be very keen to watch

Was just coming into the thread to say I want to see him fight Struve too! Recently I have been saying Struve should fight Big Foot next, but now I'm leaning towards him fighting Nog.

Werdum vs Big Nog II It's been over 6 years since their last and both have improved striking with awesome jitz

Nice win over Herman but lets be real, Big Nog isn't even close to a fight with JDS. IMO JDS would KTFO of Big Nog very quickly.
Big Nog vs Werdum or Struve would be good in my book.
JDS has Cain, Overeem and Cormier in that order as long as he wins and one of these guys don't lose.
