I have an idea to float out there.. How many of you agree?
I think instead of 4 fights, we should have a max length of 8. I personally wanna do a tournament in each weight division to determine inaugural champions. If I do an 8 man tourney, my champion will only be able to defend the title once. If I do a 16 man tourney, he'll be able to defend 0 times.
Especially if co-promoting counts against the contract length, I really would prefer having an 8 fight (2 year) max.. At least for our best fighters.

in the sim tourneys would only count as 1 fight out of their contract. Remember in year 1 the org. who currently has the fighter has the right to re-sign them right away. Once we get into year 2 is where it will be more challenging to re-sign someone just to make the game more competitive.

When we start making fights whats the deal with dudes moving weight classes? Can guys fight in any division thats realistic? Any at all? Or only weight classes they've fought in the last 3 years?
Considering it's a simulator I won't mind saying fighters can fight in the division above and below them... But of course it's up to the software
They can fight at any weight class that the sim says they are able to fight at. Yes you can move them up and down as you choose but say you want Benson to fight at MW and the sim won't allow it then I will just simply tell you it can't happen.
