I like the idea of two "divisions", although I don't know how much more work that would be for the site admins.
Division 1: The UFC and Pride, if it remains top-notch. It looks more and more likely that Pride will sink to the 2nd tier of MMA. If it's revived to its former glory, it should remain in "Division 1."
Division 2: The IFL, BodogFight, WEC, and Pride, if all of their top guys go to the UFC. EliteXC and K-1 are airing on Showtime, which makes it even less accessible for most people than pay-per-view. If it were up to me, the qualification would be the availability of broadcasts. The IFL, BodogFight, the WEC and Pride all have weekly shows, and occasional full cards, on free television (as does the UFC), so it's relatively easy to see their guys. Of course, that's a friggin' lot of MMA.
With these two divisions, the folks who don't want to be hardcore about it aren't forced to be.
p.s. If prizes are going to be awarded at the seasons, the prize for Division 1 should be substantially greater. I wouldn't cry if there were no prize for the "Division 2" organizations, beyond bragging rights. Maybe award the winner the title of "MMA Major Domo" and a free "Premium-Plus" membership. Or something.

have a second division for people who want to pick/wager on other fights, but you can keep it seperate from the ufc events, so the people who dont want to dont have to. great idea!

I like the idea of the two divison system. I also like the idea of just putting up the main cards or major fights in the other organizations.

it is really tough to answer because of how fluid the organizations are. Having a base of UFC and WEC makes sense, and i think you could post polls about upcoming super-fights (like the latest with Lesnar and Gracie. If they come around you guys could post a big message and whatever votes you get you go with. this should work until the organizations figure out where they stand.

The way I see it, if its MMA, and its on PPV, then we show be able to pick and bet.

The probelm with this is not everyone gets access to the same PPV's. As far as I know, the USA is the only country that gets access to IFL too so even saying all free MMA events should be added wouldn't work. I still think my idea of two divisions would be the most fair. It would allow people to make picks for major events and wouldn't ruin their record if they didn't make picks for smaller organizations.

If the next Cage Rage is free online again maybe we should add that, I follow a lot of MMA but I can't watch the IFL where I am at

I would like to WEC and maybe Strikeforce/EXC.. the next Strikeforce/EXC ppv card is real solid and if they keep up that kind of match making then I see good things coming

If you add more orgs they should at least be the ones we can watch on TV or PPV.
Suggestions:
K1 - Kickboxing (Form of MMA, just no ground fighting) K1 Heros (Or any other MMA match from K1) WEC IFL (Single fight win and Team win) Bodog Elite XC StrikeForce Cage Rage Icon/Superbrawl (If Pro Elite will keep offering internet PPV) Major Boxing Bouts (If it doesn't piss too many people off )
If users don't know about certain fighters or can't make a pick they don't have too. It's not about how many wins you have, it's the percentage.

I don't think that Boxing or Kickboxing need to be involved.
Assuming Pride doesn't survive, I would like to see at least one more org take its place though. Adding the division 2 or just the superfights were good ideas. I think by the end of the year that we'll all have a better idea which orgs will be the strongest...it is just too hard to tell right now...and of coarse others have brought up good points. What should be the determining factor? Should it be popularity, PPV, internationa availability?
I propose adding a few of the smaller orgs as an exhibition league...or division 2 if you will. If any of those leagues reach a certain criteria (international availability, PPV, etc.), then they could be promoted to division 1.
