A regional-show super fight in his former home state ended badly for Jake Rosholt, a former Oklahoma State University national-champion wrestler whom Anthony Johnson knocked out at Friday's Xtreme Fight League 9 event at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.

Johnson, who's now 3-0 since his UFC release earlier this year, used a second-round head kick to secure the win.

The fight, which streamed online as part of a card with boxing and kickboxing bouts, was the former welterweight's second straight win since a move up 205 pounds.

Johnson looked good last night. Even came into the fight 1 pound under. He bloodied up Jake pretty good before landing the nice head kick.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

Are we all happy MMA at the highest level no longer takes place in a ring? I was hoping for a little more from the KO

There's arguments for and against, and I think they're equally valid. I think it's a nice alternative as it encourages the fighters to press forward and fight in the middle of the ring. In a way it promotes a more well-rounded fighter as a grappler can't just bully someone into the side of the cage, or fighters won't stay stuck in a clinch war for too long. Gotta have some standup, and gotta time those takedowns.

Specifically for this fight, what struck me is how huge Rumble looks when he's fully hydrated. I knew he was way too big for 170, but it's obvious he should've been fighting here for some time.

Aw man, don't you hate it when your manhood gets smacked around? Even the lightest tap will send me crashing to the mat bro, clutching my testes and bellowing like a bull.

This fight is the reason why all MMA fights need to be in a CAGE.That was the cheapest ring in the world, it looked like they should of been fighting in my garage
